Atikameg Family Preservation & Protection Services Building

On June 2, 2026, the Whitefish Lake First Nation Leadership met with Johnston Builders to sign a historic agreement to build the Atikameg Family Preservation & Protection Services (FPPS) Building.  The Atikameg Family Preservation & Protection Services (FPPS) Building will house two Reunification Homes (west portion of building) and the Atikameg Child & Family Services Emergency Children’s Lodge (East portion of building).  Construction will begin Summer 2026.
